"This is our second visit to Athens and Hotel Plaka. The hotel is located very close to the central square, tons of shopping, eateries, and Parthenon. The hotel has a wonderful rooftop bar and a new restaurant with a fantastic view of the Acropolis and Parthenon. The staff are friendly and extremely welcoming. They have a luggage storage area in case you get there before your room is ready. The Plaka district is a wonderful area with a lot of restaurants, shops, churches, and bustling...

"The hotels location is excellent. The rooms are decent size by European standards There is school in the back, and the kids are noisy and seem to be on break constantly. In addition church-bells ring every so often. The beauty of the hotel is when you open the windows you see the acropolis illuminated by night. you can also see it from the restaurant terrace It is Nice to sit up there."

Neighborhood somewhat of a negative, location in the food market area unattractive, but I was already aware of that from Trip Advisor reviews, and accepted it. Location very convenient to a major Metro station, and an easy walk to really get a good feel for the Athens city."

"Not a lot of details, sorry...just a very pleasant stay. Location in the Plaka; we walked all over Athens. Room was clean and efficient. Very quiet area. View from the rooftop of the Parthenon. My favorite thing was staff was very helpful. The day before checkout they were making sure we would get breakfast before we left."
