"Booked a 5 night stay here in a king room. Very spacious and clean. Staff were more than accommodating and super friendly. Most spoke English fluently which definitely helped. Breakfast in the morning provided you with 3 options each day which we certainly appreciated together with the bottles of water and the packets of tissues! Lots of amenities nearby - forex, pharmacies, markets of course. Location can’t be better. We were a bit leery about staying right in the heart of the zocalo but none of our hesitations were justified. Streets were well lit at night, and we felt very safe. It’s great to see lots of families, young kids, the elderly and couples alike -all enjoying the same space. A very festive and happy atmosphere. Lots of touts in the zocalo but a friendly ‘no gracias’ is sufficient. No aggressions. All in all a terrific stay!"

"Reasonable place to stay, no issues, was comfortable. It’s maybe 10 mins walk from the corner of Oaxaca centro. The area is a lot quieter than centro itself, so late at night we felt slightly wary (we were two women) but the locals otherwise say it’s a safe area. It’s only 8 mins walk from ADO bus terminal which was nice. Breakfast was excellent. Safe worked well. Service was lovely. Hot water was hot. I would recommend this place overall but staying closer to centro might be more convenient "

"The staff was very accommodating, and the room was lovely. I initially had a ground-floor, windowless room, which may have been because I booked through a third party, but the front desk graciously moved us upstairs, and it was night and day in every aspect of the room, bathroom, and brightness. The location is super convenient as well."

"Tuvimos una estancia bastante agradable a pesar de los reviews que habíamos leído. Es muy sencillo cruzar la avenida para caminar hacia el centro, excelente ubicación y un ambiente familiar. El personal de recepción fue más allá de sus responsabilidades para ayudarnos en absolutamente todo lo que necesitáramos. Hasta un doctor nos ayudó a conseguir. La habitaciones limpias y sencillas. También probamos el restaurante delicioso. Gracias por una gran experiencia en Oaxaca"
