"For several days before our arrival, I sent multiple messages, through Vrbo, AND the host’s website email to the host, asking for entry instructions. No response. We were in Japan and I had no way to call the host. So I did several long live chats with Vrbo asking them to actually CALL the host via telephone because I was suspicious of them not responding and nervous about being able to get in as we were arriving late at night.
