"This is a great guest house and who includes breakfast anymore?? My cousin and I stayed for one night and our room was very warm, cozy, and the owner made us very welcome. He went above and beyond with breakfast the next morning and cooked up custom meals for each of us! I would definitely stay here again since it is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the Largs train station, and who doesn’t love excellent hospitality and service?! Highly recommended"

"dog friendly, staff a bit inexperienced as breakfast was not set up this may be due to time of year and not usual staff member as l was the only guest, room and facilities need a spruce up. "

"A lovely overnight stay in a very comfortable room with a stunning view across the bay. Enjoyed a very tasty breakfast with very good choices in the morning. The property is in a great location for ferry passengers arriving on foot, being close to the ferry with great seafront paths and pavements to walk along."

"It was clean good side room ,shower and. Bit dodgy, no one there if you had problems had to phone , some one came in room every day but did not replace any thing "

"Our stay at Douglas Park was simply wonderful. From trying to spot dolphins out the windows at breakfast to warm welcomes from Tilly and Ken after a rainy day out. Ken is an absolutely wonderful host whose hospitality is exemplary! Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. Last year, when we couldn't get off the island due to ferry problems, Jan put us up for an extra with no charge. "The Glenisle Hotel is located in Lamlash with a stunning view across to the Holy Isle- from the top room. Central, and convenient for other eateries and bars, with a Co-op Market a short walk. Hotel was spotless and comfortable, with staff friendly and welcoming. Carpark was small, but enough space at front to park on road. A nice seat across from Hotel front entrance to take in the view 🤗 "
