"Staff and public areas were excellent and very comfortable. Unfortunately the grounds are in need of TLC which is a shame. The hire of a skip for a day to remove all the rubbish and fishing debris would help. The bedroom accommodation needs a lot of paintwork and updating. I've slept in more comfortable beds in Premier Inns! Housekeeping was a bit erratic. The quality of the food at breakfast was mediocre. However it's perfect for dogs and the staff were great."
