"Loved the uniqueness of this boutique hotel. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We visited the sister hotel, Riviera del Rio, and enjoyed their infinity pool and views which was a nice perk. We enjoyed our welcome drinks and snack and we enjoyed our upgraded room. Loved the convenience of the location- close to the Malécon and the old town and right by the cat island!"

"Villa Lola provided a clean, safe, friendly and well located place for us to stay in PV. The staff was especially friendly. The morning breakfasts were delicious. The beds were quite comfortable, and the air conditioning kept our large room at a perfect temperature. I’m hopeful it will be available for my annual trek next January to PV."

"Hosts: Extremely helpful, they went out of their way to help me get items I needed for the next stage of my trip. Room and building: Excellent. Atmospheric with lots of character, and a view of palm trees from my window. Cool with AC and a powerful fan. Big garden area which is nicely lit at night, with swinging chairs, recliners and a pool. "It was horrible experience. I didnt even stay at this place. I made reservation through expedia and the host mentioned he never got the reservation on his end. To make things worse, he said he was all booked and had no more rooms. I had my family with me and had to look elsewhere for a night's stay. Im glad i called him a head of time and found out. Or else i would've showed up without anywhere to stay. The host said it has been years since they have used expedia. Expedia, please remove hotel...

"Booked without realizing it was outside of Puerto Vallarta. One of my best mistakes to date. It is a little expensive to get to by taxi, and extra $50 we didn't plan on but in the end it was sooo worth it. This place is tranquil and good for the soul. There is a small stream behind the hotel with a manmade sandbar in it with 3 beach chairs. Waterfall about 4 steps away from that. Perfect place to read or just listen to nature and reconnect with oneself. The wifi was not working while we were...
