"This is a lovely property. It was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace and sitting out on the deck looking at the pond. We choose this place because it was very close to the entrance to Acadia National Park. Beautiful views and quiet!"

"Perfect location and beautiful house. We are a family of 10 adults and had plenty of room. The park is fun to visit though parking can be challenging. The same with Bar Harbor, great town but difficult to park. I’d recommend this home and location for a Fall getaway. Foliage was amazing. House was clean and stocked but needed a few more forks and coffee cups. 😀"

"We love this lake house! The area is convenient to everything but also secluded and so peaceful. It was the perfect home to relax in after a long day out exploring Acadia. I was able to cook a lot of our meals, laundry was easy to do and my kids loved the mini pool table. We would stay here again if we visited MDI again. The host was a great communicator and made the experience smooth. The house was clean and comfortable. "

"We really enjoyed this spacious and clean home. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Beautiful sunrise/sunset views from the very large deck. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck. Not too far to Acadia Nat’l Park and Bar Harbor. Highly recommend this home for a relaxing Maine vacation."

"This cozy little cottage had the perfect location with a gorgeous view of my favorite garden in SWH and the harbor beyond. It is a very short walk to restaurants and shops. We loved having fires in the woodstove. The kitchen was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. We definitely want to stay again!"

"The Crow’s Nest is so warm and comfortable! Not modern, but classic and has everything you might need. Love the vintage tile and skylight in the upstairs bathroom (made it feel like you are showering in a tree house!). Margie is an excellent host with great communication. Short walk to downtown shops and restaurants, and on the “right” side of town to access Acadia quickly. Loved our stay, thank you, Margie!"

"This beautiful home was our family gathering place for my daughter's wedding in Acadia National Park. It was so wonderful to spend time with everyone in this meticulously renovated home. We cooked together in the chef's kitchen. We had family dinners in the dining room, lunch on the porch. On the lazy days, we read in the library/sunroom. The bedrooms were beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable! Spending time together in your home made the wedding weekend very magical. Thank you!"

"Our family (12 of us) stayed for a long weekend for the MDI marathon. The house was perfect, had everything we needed and was more than enough space for all of us. The house is in a great location, walkable to downtown Bar Harbor and was a great spot for our marathon weekend. Charles and Ali were very responsive when we were having some issues with the smoke detector as well. We would absolutely recommend this home! "

"I can’t say enough about how much we loved this property. It has always been a bucket list item for me to go to MDI/Acadia and I was fortunate enough to save up enough and take my wife, parents and sister! The property was beautiful, right on the tidal basin so we got to see the complete fluctuation of a empty bay teeming with life (basically birds feasting on shellfish) as well as the beauty and serenity of the higher tide. "The unit was modern, extremely clean. Community fire pits stocked with plenty of wood just bring your own marshmallows 😎. We loved the communication. We received a welcome text the day before our visit and a text the day of our visit with the room code so there was no check in required. "
