"I have nothing negative to say about this property. They have thoughtfully equipped the house with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub is a bonus and we used it to watch for the Northern Lights every night. All communication before and after arrival was answered very quickly. The setting is gorgeous along the banks of a river, a view enjoyed through the large glass windows. I would highly recommend this property even though it's a bit of a drive from the city. "I loved this cottage and was so sad to leave! I have never stayed at such a comfortable and cozy place. We arrived late at night and it was such a breath of fresh air walking into the cottage. Everything was just perfect. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. We were close to the golden circle and south coast so a slow exploration of the area was possible. "

"This was a *wonderful* home to stay in for our time in Iceland. It was a hub for lots of great day trips, but there was plenty to do in the house as well -- lots of great games, a beautiful kitchen to cook and eat in, and views galore. We didn't have time to use the hot tub, but I imagine that would also have been delightful!"

"So this place was a good place to stay as we start our drive around the country. It's in the middle of nowhere (by beach though) but not scenic. The room is comfortable and clean. It's really quiet. The only downside is there was very limited hot water. My wife used it all up in a not very long shower. "

"The room was not cleaned, old towels were hanging, there was no linen in one of the beds. We booked for 10 people, but there were actually 8 seats. The staff was arrogant, no one helped.The location was close to the beach, 10 minutes walk, but the house was somewhere behind the warehouse."

"Loved staying here. We only had one unplanned surprise. We may have missed this in the listing but the instructions ask you to take all your trash with you. We drove hours with our son holding a full bag of trash until we found a place to dispose of it. We actually named our bag since he travelled with us for so long. Other than our bag of trash, it was a nice stay."
