"We stayed on the 28th December 2024 for our son’s 13th Birthday. We stayed in the Hekla dome, and all we can say is WOW!!!!! The dome is amazing, the view is amazing, the experience was amazing. Our two kids (9 &13) loved the bunk bed and whilst cosy it wasn’t cramped even with four of us. The radio is a great addition to sit and listen to whilst playing cards or chess and watching the night sky. "We all absolutely loved this house! I was captivated by the view from the deck and I’m so glad I took a chance bc it did not disappoint. The bedrooms and baths accommodated all 8 of us well and was an absolute dream during the northern lights season! This rental was better than I expected even from the pictures- but note— master suite is lovely but is detached from the main house and if you’re traveling from the states you may need Google translate to operate the kitchen appliances well. ...
