"There was a wonderful bakery/cafe on property—great place to get breakfast. The baristas were fast and the food was terrific. The rooms were a little hot. There is a nice but pricey brasserie on site. The spa was a wonderful feature—2 hot tubs, a sauna, a relaxation room (order drink service with your phone), massages. We were able to do a bag drop until we could check in (there’s luggage lockers) and the 24/7 reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great for exploring the marina and very close to the whale watch museum, northern lights exhibit, the lava show and flyover Iceland. Some fun eateries in that area too. Had a great time here. "

"Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.well located, easy to walk around the centre. There is some reserved free parking for hotel guests but there is also free parking on streets nearby. The room was a good size, very clean and modern and well equipped. There is a gym and spa, which we did not use. Good breakfast. Overall great experience, would be happy to stay again. "

"The hostel was nice. It is right by the ocean with Mountain View’s / city behind it. Easy to get around. Bathrooms were a bit dirty but over all I enjoyed my stay. "

"First time at this hotel and we would certainly return if we came back to Reykjavik. Greeted with a smile and friendliness by Violetta on reception when we arrived to say we had been lucky to be upgraded which was a nice touch. The hotel has a cool bar / restaurant, a gym / sauna and unusually a barber shop! Rooms are clean and modern and bathroom contains great upmarket toiletries. Breakfast was great for both hot and cold options. Location is perfect on Laugavegor walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. We found street parking easy enough and there is also an underground car park 300m away on the same street. As mentioned before all staff from reception to bar / restaurant and housekeeping were happy and friendly when encountered. "

"This was the most AMAZING hotel. Great room, perfect location and the MOST COMFORTABLE BED!!! My ONLY complaint is I only got to stay there one night. Would be worth going back to Iceland just to stay in the hotel again"
