"Very clean property and staff very helpful. The only thing I did not like was housekeeping staff congregating around elevators at start of morning shift complaining about their wages and how they perceived management shortcomings. Not very professional, at minimum inappropriate."

"The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet served every morning had a good variety to choose from. There was a stop for the free bus within a short walking distance. There are a few nearby restaurants, but you have to walk a bit to find the best variety of food and shopping. This hotel is in the “bar district” so I would recommend staying more in the middle of the historic district if you want to be closer to shopping, restaurants and the waterfront. The only other complaints I have are that one of the elevators was out of order the whole week we were there, and the lighting in the bathroom and by the full length mirror was not conducive to putting on makeup or fixing hair. "

"We had never been to Charleston. This hotel in Mount Pleasant was a perfect location to everything. 10 minutes to downtown and Sullivan Island Beach. We walked to dinner at Shem’s Creek. We also walked to the USS Yorktown. There is great park under the Ravenel bridge you could walk to also. "

"A microwave in room would have been nice. Only one in the whole place, but thats not really something to complain about. Overall a nice place to stay."
