"The cute quack shack house was right on the lake which is a huge beautiful Lake. John was very prompt in communication and very helpful and attentive. There was so much to do on property and so much more nearby. It almost felt like we had the entire Lake to ourselves. The property provided kayaks and paddle boards and other fun games. Bonus was that the property was completely fenced out which is great for pets to have off leash. We definitely enjoyed our time and will be returning. "

"This was our fifth stay. The cabin is always ready when we arrive and never disappoints. Kim and Larry, the hosts, are there if you need anything and always make you feel welcome. The cabin is perfect for frequently visiting our children and grandchildren. Our dogs enjoy the yard and visiting with Kim and Larry's dogs. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. We keep coming back and will continue to do so. "

"Great place! Here to watch my son - great parking (even for a boat and truck)! Nice for a solo or couple. Great view - right on the water - 20 minutes to good restaurants and shopping. Excellent host communication! Would stay again!"

Cons: an unexpected hot tub maintenance man visit was very disconcerting as we were relaxing and, the isolated nature of the location, caused stress. "Cute Cozy Cabin for two located in Pickens SC. This cabin is in a great location. You can be in Easly SC or Greenville SC within 20 minutes. There’s a lot of state parks nearby with Mountain View’s, Creeks, waterfalls, and hiking trails. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed listening to the creek while sitting in the hot tub. "

"We had a wonderful time in this cabin. It was so cute and relaxing and exactly like the pictures. It was about 20-30 min from any restaurants/ town but we did not mind. We planned to cook at the cabin and grill and relax and enjoy the peacefulness . It couldn’t have been better and we can’t wait to go back. "

"We had the best time staying at the Creekside Cottage! My husband grew up fishing this creek as a child and it was so great to bring him home for the holidays. The location was nothing less than sublime. We were the first guests to stay there after Hurricane Helene. While the landscape changed from some of the photos, Melanie let us know immediately when making our reservation, and we had already been expecting some changes.
