"Mills house is a great place to stay while in Charleston. It is elegantly decorated and our room is very clean and beds are comfortable. The hotel has lobby with various corners to lounge in while you chat up with friends or wait for rides. The location is the best. There are great restaurants that are around the corner, and the water front park is also within walking distance. The Dash bus stop is just a couple blocks away as well. Both Iron Rose restaurant and Black Door Cafe are great - good food, superb services. We will stay at Mills House if visiting Charleston again."

"The property is beautiful and staff is very friendly. We were on the second floor and it was kind of loud. I think there might’ve been a wedding downstairs, unless the music was coming from outside somewhere. It did end at a decent time though. Traffic on King street can also be loud on the weekend, but overall, our stay was wonderful "
