Hotels with Bars in South Carolina from SAR 220

"First time staying around Thanksgiving. Easy drive across the river to top restaurants for a turkey day feast, Black Friday shopping and looking at Christmas lights on John's Island. Also drove to Isle of Palms for a delicious lunch at Acme Low Country Kitchen and a great snack and Frose at Co-op on Sullivan's island! Need to schedule next year to watch the Holiday Flotilla-- later in December. "

"The hotel was clean, quiet and room well equipped. The fireplace in the lobby was a cozy place for reading. The front desk was short staffed when we arrived so we had to wait awhile to check in, and on the day we left one of the staff rudely asked my husband if he was a guest there, implying that he was a "flagrant" (her words) because she saw him "walk in from outside". She was apologetic when he showed her his key. Other than that, the hotel met our basic needs and was comfortable overall. "
