"The GLK is a nice facility, and the staff is wonderful, from the desk agents to the cleaning staff. It is a narrow and tall building, and the stairs are really steep, so you will probably take the lift. The breakfast buffet is very good, and includes a samovar with genuine Turkish Rize tea. The rooms and interior look a bit worn, so I won't give my review a 5 ✬ rating, but 4 1/2 ✬ would be correct. Note: it is a 10 minute walk to the Sultanahmet tram station. "Convenient location "

"Hotel was clean. Close to tourist areas. Tv remotes did not work and claimed there were elevators but none to be had. Also somewhat difficult to find. Streets very narrow for cars to access. They need to get one remote not use two to be able to use the tv. "
