"Fantastic stay. Beautiful location we felt like lords of the manor. A real rustic first class hotel. Felt like we were living in upper class 1923. Food was also outstanding Jacob cooked a steak that was better than miller and carter. We will return excellent views from room 25. "

"We called ahead to ask if we could check in early so we could change to go to a wedding. They weren’t able to get the room ready but did let us in before it had been cleaned so that we could change. The family room had 2 bedrooms and suited our needs really well, and would suit most families. The room decor was a little tired but clean and all in good working order. "The staff at this property, from Reception to dining staff are so polite, helpful and have a smile. A calm environment. Bedrooms are nice and comfortable beds. I have stayed here a few times and always on the lookout for this hotel first when I visit Swindon."
