"We enjoyed this quirky (lots of steps) but delightful rental. All the bedrooms with ensuite baths ensured privacy for everyone. The small kitchen was very well outfitted and we enjoyed cooking dinners there with wonderful indoor and outdoor eating options. The pool was refreshing with lovely views. "Ok, it's not exactly medieval living... It's better! The Medieval family who built the castle that once was attached to this tower didn't have indoor plumbing. This gem has all the modern conveniences (including indoor plumbing, a kitchen, 1 1/2 bathrooms, heating and air conditioning) while being tucked away in a quaint little commune (Pratovecchio-Stia). The small town in which it is located has a grocery store and local shopping a very short walk away. Monica surprised us with homemade pasta...

"Overall our stay in Hu Firenze was great. The restaurant on location was really cool and tasted pretty great too. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our little house was a big tent basically. Interesting but annoying when people would come check it out or tap on our house (happened a couple times). It was kinda funny but always awkward. We had a bed, closet, mini fridge, and bathroom. They had a shuttle to take you partially into town or you could walk to Firenze Rovezzano (train station)....

"The staff was wonderful. Everybody was so nice and eager to help with whatever I needed. I never had to wait more than 3 mins for a taxi, no matter what time of day or night. "

"Great place to stay. The host was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and check in and out was easy. This hotel is in the restricted traffic area of Florence so if you’re driving stay somewhere outside this area. "
