The property was centrally located and easily walkable to all the sights. The staff were friendly and helpful. They recommended a restaurant down the street that was out of the more touristy areas and it was our best meal of our trip. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay, we enjoyed it loads! We appreciated early check in as our room was ready upon our mid-morning arrival, friendliness of all staff, cleanliness & warmth in our room and especially loved the breakfast - very well organized, on a small space but with broad variety of tasty options. Property is also walkable distance from all main sights and restaurants. Very pleased with our choice, can only recommend.

Super central location -a few minutes on foot from all the top sights. Hotel was decorated as if you’ve walked into a room in the early 1900s. Friendly staff and my room opening to the courtyard is very quiet away from the main street

We had a pleasant stay at Il Guelfo Bianco. Our room was very tastefully decorated, with living and sleeping area separated. The location is very central and convenient, within walking distance to the main train station and every attraction. The front desk staff were very helpful. Carlo, the person who received us, was very courteous and helpful. He gave us an electronic kettle and cutlery when we asked him. The other staff who helped us check out, gave us a breakfast box as we left in the middle of the night. The breakfast was amazing with many sweet and savoury options. The only downside for me was the housekeeping of the room. I found hair in the washroom area upon arrival, and the daily housekeeping was not as high as the level of other services we received.But all and all, we had a very good experience in this hotel.

I enjoyed this hotel because it made it feel like you were receiving the italian experience because of the decorum in the rooms and windows while also maintaining modern qualities of a hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Well placed for walking to restaurants, Santa Maria Novella, Ponte Vecchio. Pharmacy next door as well in case you catch a bug from your travels.

The hotel is built on a centuries old building in the heart of Florence. Definitely highlights the historic character. very walkable to dining options and all the important highlights of the city. The breakfast is excellent and the staff very nice and welcoming. Because of this being a very old building, the configuration of the rooms is not standard as you would expect with a newer building. However, it has been kept up well. Overall, Florence is expensive and the value for your money is not optimal at any place. If at all, stay here for the breakfast.

This hotel is very unique in its layout and close to everything you would do in Florence. This is my second stay and I was not disappointed for repeating my stay. I used their laundry service as well. Staff was receptive and very friendly! Convenience and charm made this a great stay.
