"Great place to stay your downtown older hotel, but has a lot of character."

"The staff was a little distant and detached. They were polite but, kind of daydreaming and slow to respond. All I asked for was fresh towels in our room and didn’t get them. When we went to the restaurant the staff took their time acknowledging us. They were all polite but, not very interested in their contract."

"Had a last minute stay here when our flight was cancelled. Great location for a walk down to st Petes pier. Nice hotel, good breakfast. Friendly staff."

"I mostly enjoyed my stay but unfortunately this specific hotel made things difficult for me during my trip. I had an early morning flight from Pennsylvania to Florida for my friend’s wedding and I wanted to check in early. I was willing to pay money to do so. I arrived to the hotel around 10 am and the front desk had informed me that they were sold out the night before so no rooms were available yet. Check out for guests was at 11 am and they made it seem like I would have a room before 12 pm to get ready for my friend’s wedding which had started around 1 pm. There were multiple rooms checking out and housekeepers were present, yet I didn’t get a room at this time. I had to get ready for my friend’s wedding in a grocery store bathroom due to this inconvenience. If I worked at a hotel and knew someone had arrived from out of town and was trying to get ready for a special event, then I would have accommodated them as soon as possible by freeing up a room right when the first guest checked out. That’s why I rated this property only 3 stars. They need to work on professionalism."
