"We booked a last minute stay at the Fistral Beach in a sea view double and what a view it was over Fistral Beach. The room was clean and a good size so you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other. The bathroom was clean with a range of products to use if you don’t want to take your own. My only grip was that it was a shower over a bath but that is a personal preference and the shower was powerful. We ate, twice in the Bay Bar, the staff were friendly, engaging and went above and beyond to make sure you had a good experience. The real highlight was breakfast each morning, where Sarah and Neil welcome you and make the start to your day a fabulous one - they make you feel like you’ve known them forever. The car park is small but we didn’t struggle to get a space, however that might be different in peak season. The same for the on road parking, there was plenty of spaces but I’m sure they’ll be limited during the summer months. We didn’t have any treatments but we did use the pool and jacuzzi, which were clean and a nice amenity to have on site. We were able to walk from the hotel in to Newquay town centre along the SW coastal path and through the golf club, which took approximately 20mins to Sainsbury’s. "

"Mostly great, breakfast service was a bit haphazard, clearly nobody in charge. Not everything available at 8.00. Had to ask for butter. Menu says breakfast is from 7.30. Long wait to take breakfast orders. Light outside front door on during the day, off at night when you need it. Lights at front gate have glass hanging out. Needs attention to detail, I.e. management."
