What a gem! The staff at this hotel are all amazing. Each and every one of them is confident, capable and above all polite and helpful. Nothing, it seems is too much trouble. The hotel building is old and characterful but well kept and comfortable. Food portions are generous and menu excellent. The pool and spa facilities are great and make the price of your stay extremely good value. The placement of the hotel makes it ideal for getting to either Cornish coast in no time or explore the fascinating history and surroundings on foot from the hotel.

The staff are so welcoming and friendly the room brilliant very large and clean lots of different teas to choose from, the bar had lots of different drinks to choose from the cocktail menu was outstanding which made my wife very happy, with regards to the restaurant the food was lovely lots to choose from the one menu was very good as well great value for your money , at breakfast time we came down late we only had a choice of continental breakfast which I understand, but it took 35 minutes to get a hard boiled egg , apart from the boiled eggs my wife and I are thinking of going back to stay at this beautiful little hotel again for a week or so

A little bit if class in Reduth
The hotel & staff were brilliant, making us feel very welcome. All the staff were happy and smiley & most willing to help out with info & choices etc. Food was superb as was the ambience of the hotel. Would definitely go back again.

Not quite 4 star stay
Unsure why hotel has 4 stars because the condition of hotel rooms and spa was way below average. Photos look nothing like actual condition of facilities. The spa is very tired and outdated, not looked after as windows were dirty covered in cobwebs and dead flies. Bedroom was very small and you can hear every noise and conversation outside the room. Shower was clogged took a while for water to go down. When someone was turning room around they took all rubbish out of the bin and put on the desk; forgot about it so when we came back we found all our rubbish on the desk, so there is definitely no attention to detail there. Mentioned all this to reception staff, didn’t seem like they cared much. Overall very below average hotel and facilities, definitely overpriced for what it is.
