"Charming home, nicely decorated. Nice view of SW Harbor. Close to grocery store, restaurants, Acadia. If you cannot walk up a flight of stairs, you may want to contact the host, though. Great location. We took a ride on a lobster boat, went to Bar Harbor, went to Cadillac mountain, and drove the park loop. We really enjoyed the island and its beauty. "

"The house was clean and just what we were looking for for our trip to Acadia. Walked into town for dinner & icecream which was nice. Unfortunately while we were there we noticed a gas leak in the kitchen. The host was very responsive and professional, sending a technician the next day who was able to turn off the gas. No fault of the host, but definitely took away from our overall trip having to worry about that. Otherwise property was well maintained."

"The property was nice and private. Didn't get to use the yard as it was cold and snowy. Watching the deer come out of the woods was special.We have a large family and the house was perfect. we even had a Christmas tree."

Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full.
