"We recently spent 2 nights at La Reserva Virgin Lodge and there were some good things and not so great things about the lodge. Pros - Great staff; helpful and friendly - Decent food in the restaurant and priced reasonably given this was a 'resort' - Lovely jungle location - Spacious room Cons - I know this is the jungle and a tropical rainforest, but still our room smelled full of mildew and damp. "Gorgeous property with grand views of, and easy access to Iguazú Falls. Dining is limited, just two areas to eat, but the food is overall excellent. Hotel sponsored transportation to/from the airport and even a visit to the Brazilian side of the falls is trustworthy and reasonable (to me). The room was very nicely appointed and comfortable. This is a high end property, but worth the splurge for an incredible experience! "

"Convenient to public transport and two supermarkets. Bus from the airport will drop you off there. Lovely service with limited English. Good breakfast included. Only downside is no kettle or tea/coffee in rooms."

"Great property, well situated, nice room w/good A/C and comfortable bed. Shower has no door or curtain. Stores, restaurants/bars, mini marts all within 15’ walk and short stroll to bus station. Staff friendly and helpful, free breakfast w/many choices. No iron available but pressing service w/same day option. No safety concerns, felt secure everywhere. Highly recommend. "

"Great hotel - private access to the park is priceless. Lovely facilities, reasonably priced meals at restaurants and lovely staff. Would only recommend for 1-2 nights given the isolated location. "

Near city terminal and supermarket.

"Staying at Manacá Hotel was a fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and ensured I had everything I needed. The hotel’s design blends modern comfort with a warm, inviting atmosphere. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had all the amenities I could ask for. The pool area was a true oasis—surrounded by beautifully designed to blend with the natural surroundings. Whether I went for an early morning swim or a refreshing dip in the evening, the water was always pristine and inviting. There were plenty of lounge chairs around the pool, perfect for soaking up the sun. Overall, Manacá Hotel provided outstanding service, a perfect location, and a relaxing environment. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay. "

"Pior hotel que já fui na minha vida! Escolhi pelo preço, arrependimento total! Os recepcionistas do sábado de manhã são muito ignorantes. A moça simplesmente me disse que minha filha por ter só 3 anos e não ser pagante não tinha direito à cama extra ou berço! Eu fiz a reserva incluindo a criança!!! O outro recepcionista mal educado ainda foi comentar com ela sobre minha profissão que ele deve ter visto na minha ficha e disse que todos os jornalistas são metidos!!! Mas eu estava no corredor e ouvi o comentário!!! Que padrão de atendimento para um hotel. Depois que eu entrei vi o quarto! Que terrível! Velho, todo manchado, cama torta, desnivelada. Tv com controle remoto quebrado! Café da manhã bem simples (até aí tudo bem pelo valor)."
