"It’s got a great location for access to Queenstown and is a good option if you’re adventuring on a budget. We stayed in a queen room and it was small, but clean and comfortable. Walls are thin. If you’re looking for a hostel, this is great, kitchen set up looked useful. If you’re looking more for a hotel, this is not really set up for you. "

"I was impressed with my king bed with own Bathroom. The room was spacious and clean except for when house keeping overlooked the please tidy my room sign on my door when l was out on a day trip. Nomads is in central Queenstown and l perfectly located fo the attractions and town nightlife.. tours can be arranged on sight. The room could do with a clock as it has no windows so it's hard to know what time of day it is. Other than that l can highly recommend staying at Nomads "

"Excellent place to stay in Aoraki Mt Cook Nat'l Park with beautiful views and plenty of amenities. We appreciated the on site laundry, lounge areas, and the sauna! Dining options are limited in the park (~3 restaurants). Even though they're all good, you may want to plan ahead and bring groceries to take advantage of the communal kitchen area at the hostel. Helpful and friendly staff keep everything clean and tidy. We loved our experience here!"

"I have had the opportunity of staying at this Haka House a few times and the staff is always so kind and helpful. The cleanliness is almost impeccable. I must say I did not enjoy my stay in a mixed 8 people dorm as much as the female 4 or mixed 4 or even the 2 person dorm because of the unbelievable lack of respect of so many people concerning night time noise, odours, lack of hygiene, having the sound and notifications on their phones loud all evening and night long. "We traveled as a family - four kids and mother in law, and got two suites. the outside of the building is very nice, but its next to a run down building so we were a little skeptical when we saw it. But the fears were misplaced. Great location, inside was great. More set up for the backpacker crowd - lots of rooms to meet or meet up with people. Great vibe. But it wasn't at all bad for families."

"I stayed in a private bedroom with ensuite - clean, modern, away from the communal kitchen and showers, so it was quiet. Having the pool tables (free to backpackers, 1/2 price on Fri/Sat) downstairs - fun to play a few games there with people I met in the backpackers' kitchen. I'll be going back to On Top next time I'm in Dunners! "

"Very nice staff, always eager to help. The rooms were freshly painted and clutter free with a sink in each room. There is no closet nor shelving for storing the luggage or hang clothing for longer stays however they might have larger room with storage capacity for extended stays. The laundry facility is superb. The kitchen is large and clean. Highly recommended as it is the only affordable place in Greymouth and it is my j better than other hostels or even hotels in the southern part. "

"A comfortable stay just for a night before catching the ferry. It is a short walk into Picton where there are eateries and bars. It was cheap and cheerful, and the gentleman on the desk was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I only made coffee in the kitchen but it looked well stocked. The room itself was a little shabby and could do with a deep clean (carpet a bit stained, cobwebs in the corners), but bedding, toilet, shower etc were all clean, and the bed was comfortable, and the room...
