"A brilliant place to stay in the charming little town of Turangi. Very peaceful and calm, with plenty of facilities. Lovely and well-equipped kitchen with a large dining area and plenty of space to relax including a great TV room. Plenty of toilets and showers too. Rooms are nice and beds comfy. The place is very clean and all the staff are lovely. The owner is a great guy and really nice to chat to. This place is a haven and easily the best place I have stayed in New Zealand. Thank you to all!"

"Good value for money. We had room with queen and a bunker for three of us. Also had a kitchenette within. Bathroom/Toilet was shared with one other room. Was very tidy, the best pillows n linen. Very centrally located. Would definitely stay again."

"We were extremely disappointed to be confronted with a run down house which was badly in need of maintenance and nothing like the photos on the website. Tired after driving thirteen hours we viewed the room and facilities, Room was tiny and bed/bedding very worn, barely room to get around the bed, door was locked with a dead lock and on the outer of the door was a patch of black board paint with our surname written in chalk. "Friendly hosgt couldn't have been more accommodating. Clean,tidy room, relatively quiet for a hostel-type place. Would recommend for those seeking a good room at a bargain price."
