"Just okay, aircon and fridge not working right. Location is not so convenient when you’re planning to visit the Capitol, Lady Bird Lake and LBJ Library. This location is on the other side of the freeway. Staff are nice and accommodating."

"If window faces highway it can get noisy. Hotel smells of smoke in hallways and seemed to detect a hint of urine on the first floor. No coffee maker in room. Elevator broken "for foreseeable future." Despite issues, stay was better than expected, did not hear any noisy guests. Improve your amenities and replace carpeting."

"I think this is a great Hidden Gem experience. It's not for everybody, but if you like a good value, atmosphere that is unique, good people watching opportunities, this is a great place to stop by. The staff is very friendly and it's generally a one-of-a-kind place."

"Stayed for one night to attend a concert in the area. The exterior is rough, but the interior feels modern. The room I stayed at was clean and the bed was nice, better than the one I have at home. You can tell they recently renovated the rooms. The staff was polite and helpful. Next time I come here I'll get a room that's facing away from the highway traffic, and if you are sensitive to outside noise while trying to sleep, I suggest doing the same."
