"Nice view. Room was nice. Bed was comfortable. The shower was tiny. Breakfast was good. Property allows pets but are not pet friendly. I was told that I cannot leave my pet in the room or allow her to sit next to me for breakfast. My dog is small, well behaved and sits in her crate. This meant my husband and I breakfasted separately and were unable to utilize the restaurant for dinner or drinks together. Disappointed. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at La Pergola hotel for our Sorrento holiday. The staff were so friendly, especially Olga who was really helpful when asking for advice on transfers to Naples airport. Toni was brilliant too who ran the shuttle service from the hotel to Sorrento, which was a great free service that is offered by the hotel. "What should have been a nice stay in a well located apartment was marred by poor communication and a lack of hospitality. Upon booking of the stay, we received an email to state our time of arrival. When we arrived the location was locked and no one to be found. Neighbors told us the owner wasn't around and did not answer our calls. Hotels.com as well as town tourist board could not get a hold of the owner with direct or alternate numbers for over an hour while our family waited outside the...

"This is an old family home, not a hotel; Gated, beautiful landscaping, happy small dog, bright and clean rooms, large bathroom and shower, large balcony. The owner and daughter were very helpful with suggestions for eating (all excellent). Very close walking to old Sorrento and the bay. No elevator, some street noise at night (planned future improvements)."
