"Our entire 4 night stay was truly outstanding! This hotel is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and quite elegant, with a highly competent, professional and helpful staff. The location is perfect in that it’s a quick walk into the main part of town, yet is separate enough to be peacefully quiet. The included extensive breakfast buffet was an appetizing presentation of fruits, meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, yogurt and hot dishes and truly a delightfully delicious way to start each morning. Without any hesitation at all, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sorrento."

"Just had a really great few days here. The location is perfect, the staff were friendly and helpful, the public areas were comfortable and clean and the pool area perfect for relaxing in. Our (seaview) room was spacious and had a huge balcony overlooking the gulf and the port and was perfect for people watching. It was also spotlessly clean and the housekeeping service was first class. There were USB (a&c) ports either side of the beds, ironing facilities and a humongous shower! But (there's always a but!) we were amazed at the absence of tea/coffee making facilities which is a hotel policy decision. We spend over 3 months a year in hotel accommodation ranging from B&B's to 5* hotels and this is the only place where this facility was not provided. (Not worth dropping a star for but worth remembering to bring a travel kettle in future!) That said, the breakfast was great and we managed to survive until then. Special thanks to the reception team who were genuinely interested in your day. "

"Staying at the Continental Sorrento was one of the best hotel experiences my wife and I, from Vancouver, have ever had. Perfect location and great hotel, but what really made the experience great was the hotel staff. From the valet to front desk staff everyone was as professional as they could be. The buffet breakfast was amazing with Antonio being a highlight of our mornings. Definately order a cappucino. You will not regret booking the Hotel Continental. Great location Great Beach. (With complimentary elevator taking you right down) Perfectly kept up Amazing all around Thank You Hotel Continental "

"In the centre of Sorrento. Sitting in the Citrus Grove beside the pool you would not know you were in a busy city. Loved all the tiled floors. Staff were excellent. All very helpful. We arrived by ferry and got a taxi as very very steep hill which most of the town is built on. Left by train which was about 10 min walk to train station, less if u are fit. The bus to Naples airport goes from there too. Train left on time and arrived on time. "

It was beautiful and the staff were so lovely - especially the waiters in the restaurant who were so friendly and kind. The location is a short walk from Piazza Tasso and the surrounding area is calm with not much noise at night."
