The only downside we experienced really was that we were in a room on the top floor which, while the room had clearly been hoovered etc, it was dusty in places with lots of cobwebs - while we don't mind spiders, we removed...

My single room was ideal for a solo overnight stay. Comfortable and warm. Excellent breakfast included plenty of tempting options, all served in the spacious breakfast room.
