This is a clean 3 star hotel dated but our room was lovely and clean and Warm. ashower was hot. Tea and coffee provided. great value for money, reminded me of the 1970s. :-)
Budget, basic room which is exactly what we paid !
We were looking for a cheap, basic bed for the night and this delivered. It was clean, bed not particularly comfortable but certainly adequate for the price. Pretty good plumbing considering the age of the building, and the heating was good! A few snaggy things like a small hole in the wardrobe door and broken sharp towel rail.

I think the best part of the hotel is the price and a very helpy staff.
I didn't actually stay, I walked into reception which was disgustingly and smelt and found somewhere else to stay

Friendly staff!
The room was OK. As a 3-star hotel, I was not expecting luxury for sure but I was hoping for cleaner rooms. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made the experience good.
Again get what u pay for but a very plecent stay n the price is sutable for a family room stayed 5 times now in the past 6 months so do recomend for a very plecent what you get cheap family stay :)
The service was so kind every time, both during chek im and durimg check out. Just we didn't have trowels in the room butvit was sorted out ringing reception eventhough being late in the naight.
Second stay at this hotel. Perfect for a business traveller. Cheap, comfortable, good WiFi, slept well all night. Staff excellent. Will stay here again.

We have stayed here a couple of times before. We have always enjoyed it (yes, it's a big building that has seen better days and is very dated).
What has always drawn us here however is the on-site swimming pool.. when we arrived after calling the number at reception we were unfortunately told that the pool was no longer in use.
Our children were gutted as that's our main reason for choosing this hotel.. there are cheaper and better options available in the area and having that pool closed indefinitely means, unfortunately, we won't be coming back from now on.
It ticked all of our boxes for a one night stay. It was clean and smelled fresh and fragrant, it was comfortable and the water was nice and hot. The carpet isn’t very old but the bathroom floor although clean, needs replacing.
The lovely couple from India who manage the hotel made my stay very special for me. Apart from this shops and restaurants are in easy walking distance.
Dont stay here. It was awful, run down and grubby.

Weve stayed before but believe its in the throes of a makeover so need to allow for that but the price takes this into account.
Couldnt fault it for the price we paid and would stay again.
For a old building was kept fairly tidy and equipted to suit the need and rooms the swimming pool is a good touch if was heated would make it alot more better for familys that stay to enjoy but over all is a lovley hotel n staff who own it was very polite too :)
It was quite big room number 14 bed comfortable very good suppy of tea and coffee even had parking for car a bit tight in street getting in too hotel overall its cheap and its a bed 1nighter
