A single door but entrance on the street but reception via the bar next door makes access confusing and difficult to spot from the road as you arrive in the car. There is no parking so it’s important to be able to see the place from the road before looking for parking that is close by."

"An absolute gem of a pub. The room was tastefully decorated with lots of extra little touches, like tea lights in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the claw foot bath was gorgeous, with toiletries provided and piping hot water. Perhaps a flannel to wash with would be good and the bottom of our mugs were tea stained which was a bit off-putting but that’s all I’d be picky about. "The room was very nice with continental breakfast for one day trip. The only issue was parking in the street for only 2hrs until 6pm. This would have been a bigger issue if we were there longer."
