"Very disappointing. Room did not match hotel.com posting. No lightbulbs in lamps, had to screw in the coaxial cable wire into back of tv myself. The sofa bed did not open and had to buy an extra room for a third guest which the management required a cash, no receipt payment. No hot water until I complained heavily. We hoped to have a nice few days in Teresopolis, but clearly chose the wrong place. Even the WiFi wouldn’t work. I must say one good thing, the housekeeping woman was exceptional but...

"Eu e minha esposa fomos muito bem recebidos pelo incrível casal, Eduardo e Adriana, proprietários da pousada. Antes de chegarmos o Eduardo me passou todas as informações pelo WhatsApp. O lugar é espetacular, com seis nascentes, cachoeiras, trilhas, vinhedo, plantação de cana de açúcar, criação de trutas. Ficamos no chalé Alambique, com limpeza impecável, cama confortável, cozinha completa com todos utensílios, incluindo taças de vinho. O café da manhã e almoço foram excelentes, produtos locais...

"Fomos muito bem recebidos, tudo conforme já havíamos visto mesmo, todos da Pousada muito educados e solícitos, instalações muito limpas e conservadas, um bom café da manhã e muita paz e tranquilidade no local, que de fato é um pouco longe do centro, mas já sabíamos quando alugamos, com certeza voltaremos outras vezes. "

"Hiding Gem Hotel in Brazil , Beautiful Historical Hotel with well trained staff. Specially thanks for property manager Roberta who gave us superb hospitality experience, Each suit has own design. We feel alike staying in between amazing nature and historical castle. Also thanks for Juliana being such friendly and super nice. If you are traveling to Brazil you should stop by this area and have Castle experience. Highly recommended place !!!! Don't miss this hot spot when you in Brazil ! Greg and Zara form New York City "

Good stay. Place needs some love by the owners

"Good stay overall, staff were super friendly. The building really needs a renovation, a lot of water damage around, the floor in our room was buckling. Door handle to the bathroom fell off but that was because the bolt needed to be tightened as it was an extremely old door handle. Breakfast was decent. They just need to send a handyman around to each room and go over everything to make sure it’s in working order. Also a coat of paint would go a long way to making the place look better. "

"We enjoyed this modern hotel in the city center with all the modern amenities and furniture. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was convenient and generous. We also appreciated it’s location as it was walking distance to all of the attractions we wanted to visit in Petropolis. I would suggest to request a room in the upper floors or a room facing away from the street due to some noise from the traffic. We would definitely recommend staying here."
