The yard is beautiful and peaceful. We were lucky enough that our stay fell while the lupins, peonies, and roses were all in bloom all over the property. There were fireflies in the evening over the field. We had easy day trips all over the midcoast: Boothbay and the botanical gardens, Camden, Belfast, Castine,...

The decor and taxidermy are consistent with a rustic cabin, while the kitchen is set up well to cook, with all the condiments and seasonings to be able to eat in if you choose. The cabin and the nearby hosts both exceeded expectations."

"We enjoyed our stay at this spacious rental. Rick was an excellent host. We even received eggs from the chickens one evening! The location was perfect for exploring from the mid coast to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. There is a lot to see and there are many trails to walk."
