"We booked this hotel following positive feedback from friends. I can safely say this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. From the warm hospitality of the staff, to the cleanliness of the room, the exquisite food, and the range of facilities at our leisure, it was just incredible. The spa and its heated outdoor pool was a particular highlight. It was a simply phenomenal experience. Not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but worth every single penny. "

"We've just returned from a two night stay at Ednam House hotel. Its a hotel with a traditional feel. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a courtyard view. On the other side is the most magnificent river views. Breakfast was nice and staff extremely pleasant. Wouldnt hesitate to return or recommend to anyone considering a visit "

"The deluxe room overlooking the golf course with opening patio doors was excellent and made our stay memorable. Leisure facilities such as swimming pool, steam room and sauna were good and the spa staff wonderful. On arrival, Bob on reception made us feel welcome and was brilliant. Dining in the restaurant in the evening was pleasant and with good menu options however breakfast service disorganised with being asked to wait while a table was made available which was annoying as never experienced this before at other hotels we have stayed at. The hotel is perfectly located for hiking and beautiful views so scenic. We couldnt fault any of the staff they were all wonderful and polite. We will certainly be visiting again as one of the best hotels we have stayed in. "

"Quiet and peaceful. Property exactly as advertised with lovely small garden area and small field amongst trees out the back, with deer spotted one morning. Very clean, owner had thought of everything from small torches in drawers to cleaning materials in cupboards and spare lightbulbs if required. Property very warm, and within about 30-40 minutes drive of nearby Northumberland and Scottish Border places of interest to visit. Property only 2 miles over the Border from England. Welcome pack of biscuits, cakes and honey a nice touch and a pint of milk in the fridge. Tea, sugar and coffee pods available also if required.
