"My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay. Patricia the host was very accomodating. The house was laid out in a way where we each slept well in separate bedrooms, but could lounge in the front room. The outdoor patio had a fantstic view! Close to swimming and a fun cafe and an easy walk to the marina and shops. We could even use a washer, which helped. The only challenge was for my friend who has a bad knee, so the entry stairs were hard for her. But would be fine for most people! I would stay...

"We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay, using the house as a base to climb Mt Pico, enjoy a whale watch and a wine tour. The host was very helpful with advice and helped arrange the wine tour and driver. The view out the back is beyond gorgeous and it’s a perfect deck to eat all your meals."

"This house is great. Located mid-island, it is convenient for travel all over the island. Shopping is nearby and some of the best restaurants are easy to reach. We strongly recommend Magma (just about 1 mile from house), Cinco (located in Madalena) and Mar Sushi Terrace (located in Lajes). All of these restaurants are really good, and priced properly. "We traveled with a large group and this was the only home that could accommodate all 7 of us. The owners reside in an adjacent home on the property. They were there if we needed anything but did not intrude. We had access to a washing machine, and the home has a bathtub which several of us enjoyed. "Isa was so amazing with communication and helping me set up any needs that I had for my trip. There was a welcome basket with bread and cheese and tea and coffee and water which was so much appreciated. A beautiful setting on their banana farm and close to an amazing restaurant and nice hiking. I love that the property has a bathtub for after a long day of hiking. "Loved the house,loved the location. Miguel was quick to address any questions we had. My only criticism is that there was no comfortable place to sit. We encountered terrible downpours and were confined to the house for an afternoon. There was no sofa or even a comfortable chair to sit and read a book. However, saying that, I would not dissuade you from staying in this lovely home."
