"This house is great. Located mid-island, it is convenient for travel all over the island. Shopping is nearby and some of the best restaurants are easy to reach. We strongly recommend Magma (just about 1 mile from house), Cinco (located in Madalena) and Mar Sushi Terrace (located in Lajes). All of these restaurants are really good, and priced properly. Service is exceptional. We stayed in this house for 14 days and really enjoyed the surroundings and the noise of the ocean crashing into the rocks. "

"Its an amazing house all around. Don't look any further. If i ever visit Pico again, I would stay at this house over and over again. There is a super cute restaurant 200 meters from the house. Very good food. Great atmosphere. Narural pool for swimming down the road. You can see it from the patio. But to get there , you have to drive down. The property is about 30 minites from the airport. Its just everything I could dream of and more. Thank you for letting us stay in this paradise. swimming down yhe road"

"Unfortunately I cannot recommend that anyone stay here. We had a number of issues: 1. Cleanliness - there were centipedes everywhere, including in our bed during the night which was very unsettling. We complained and basically nothing was done about this, other than putting a useless glue trap down. The house had clearly not been cleaned properly and had cobwebs / dead insects scattered around the place. 2. The toilet was leaking. Again, we complained, and they sent someone to "fix" the issue, however this was never remedied - all that happened was that a dirty towel was left behind in the bathroom (they didn't even dry the floor) 3. The AC didn't work The host was very responsive and friendly, but really didn't take any responsibility for these issues, and we ended up moving to another hotel. Very disappointing - avoid. "

"Adelina welcomed us with a great big bowl of fresh figs, tomatoes and bananas from her stunning garden. The house was gorgeous and clean and served our 2 families very well. She came by partly through our stay and provided is with more fresh veggies and fruit when we ate them all. The view was stunning. From every room and every terrace it was gorgeous. Mount Pico from one bedroom and the town, the ocean andSao Jorge from just about everywhere else. We would highly recommend this house. The adults loved it. The kids loved it. It was a 15 min walk to the town. It's not a very touristy place so it was quiet and incredibly charming. And it's a short drive to pretty much anywhere else on the island. Thanks Adelina. Obrigado! "Kind people operating it. The property has a great view to the Pico Mountain, there are multiple houses lined up on a small street. It's a very peaceful vibe. It's within walking distance (an a beautiful walk - nice village with flowers, and fruits) to a cafe/bakery, a couple of restaurants, and a nice natural pool for swimming."
