We were on the first 3 days of our honeymoon and every moment was memorable. The views - the twinkling lights at dusk, the lovely breakfasts ... I could go on and on. We received lovely handwritten notes of congratulations on beautiful stationery, and a bottle of champagne beautifully presented in an ice bucket. Turndown service each evening was thorough and meticulous. These are wonderful "throw-back" touches from another era, yet everything felt authrntic and genuine! We can't wait to return for an anniversary! Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for making the first days of our lives together so memorable! 💝"

"The food at the buffet was excellent. Lots of choices. Fresh fruit and salads and a great selection of fish and meats and vegetarian options. Staff are very friendly. It is just west of Funchal so a little quieter but walked into Old Town and had a rental car to explore the island. Lots of great hiking in Madeira. I will come back!!!!"
