"The staff for the most part a really nice maids and kitchen staff. The incumbent check in staff need to say I don’t know when they are asked question they don’t know. The new moto should be “If you don’t know Ask”"

"I enjoyed my time very much here. I loved that there was parking but depending on the time day of you came back it was often full (only fits about 17 cars), and you had to get creative with parking elsewhere (5 creative spots). If all the creative spots were gone then you would have to park ten minutes away, which luckily didn’t happen to us in early April 2025. I would imagine during high season parking would be very difficult, so don’t stay out too late with your car!! The location was not too far off the highway and offered day tours and hiking tours at reasonable prices on various days of the week. Their indoor pool is NOT INDOOR. It is only covered and is open to the elements, I actually think the indoor pool is colder than the outdoor pool because it is not warmed up by the sun. We used the steam room and dry sauna which was nice but they close early at 7pm which should be open later as people could use it after a long day of hiking! It was relaxing the one time we used it, the second time we just sat in the residual heat. Breakfast buffet is great and has many options, the perfect fuel for exploring the island!! One thing I would say I found annoying is that I often went to the front desk to ask questions and half the time no one would even be there and there is no bell to ring so I would say the service staff were not super helpful at this hotel."

"Although our room was a little smaller than anticipated, the views from the balconies may up for it! The staff are friendly, and very accommodating. Stay here and enjoy a wonderful Madeira experience!"
