"Fantastic experience! The Hobbit House is compact but extremely comfortable and functional! The hosts were very kind and hospitable, offering us a welcome basket with fresh eggs, bread and orange juice. They also shared lots of excellent suggestions for places to visit and even shared homemade sausages and regional wine with us! The surrounding farm is very quaint and we enjoyed feeding the horse and goats! An added bonus was being able to hold newly hatched chicks! The farm is minutes...

"Fabulous town house with 3 floors. Bedrooms on the lower floor & 2 bathrooms. Up the stairs to a lovely open plan kitchen/diner which was really well equipped. The upper floor was a lovely roof terrace with stunning views out to the beach. We had 3 kids with us, 12, 10 & 8. 2 flights of stairs in the place so might be a bit much for small kids or people with mobility issues. Excellent location, only 3 min walk to the square. We had a fabulous time here. Elite rentals were excellent to deal with"

"Nice villa with easy access to everything. Short drive to Carvoeiro if you need a little more pace. A few fantastic beaches are within range. We visited in Oct. and there were a lot of flies in and around the home but the home and pool were in great shape. The host is accessible and responds quickly. A very pleasant stay."

"We had a very peaceful stay at La quinta azul. Philippe and Bernard were perfect hosts, and Nino of course. The Quinta is in the perfect location to go to Lagos, Faro, and Portimao and the weather was always so nice in Silves. The property itself is beautiful, surrounded by cacti and olive trees, you’re able to walk through the trails on the property. Our only recommendation for improvement would be comfier beds and better wifi - but those are minor details.We will most certainly be back 😊"

"We booked this property to enjoy a relaxing week at the Algarve. As it was not clear to us, what kind of street runs close by the property, we asked the owner. She responded that this road is not disturbing. But unfortunately this is not true. This is the main road from Lagos to Portimao and you have traffic 24/7. "My family and I had the best holiday staying in this villa. The property is a really good size and it was a bonus having a lovely private pool in the garden, It is within walking distance of the beach, super market and lots of restaurants and bars. "Property was nice with good rooms and private patio. Only drawback was that it was cold and the portable heaters were insufficient to provide a temperature reaching 18 degrees C. They also added electricity cost of about 40 Euros per week. We booked for March which this year was too early."
