"We had a lovely two weeks in this property. The view was spectacular, the outside areas and pool were great with the balcony comfortable and shady. Inside the house felt spacious and the kitchen well equipped. Lots to do within an easy drive. We found Portugal good value for money with great food and friendly people, we will return."

"Location is beautiful But we value our privacy and the owner of the property doesn't let you know he is coming x 3 times in the 2 weeks We woke up one morning to find him in the garden! We had children with us and did not feel safe when he left as he just leaves the gate wide open The swimming pool was very unsafe and filthy the owner had to call a technician out to fix the pool and it took us a hour to clean the pool when we arrived On day 2 he accused us of breaking the umbrella...

"Great host, very accommodating. Although rustic the accommodation was really well equipped. Enjoyed the games room and the lakeside beach. We didn’t get time to use the kayaks, but they were available to use. Enjoyed the boulle’s and amazing views and it’s a great place to get off the beaten track. It is reached by a long and bumpy road, it’s well worth it to relax."

"A fantastic stay in an idealic semi remote setting only 7mins from beautiful Silves. The pool was a God send in the hot weather and there was air con in the kitchen plus fans in the bedrooms. The host only lived down the road so let us in when we arrived and always on hand if we needed anything"

"The apartment was exactly as it was described. The outdoor space was lovely. We had a minor issue the first day and our host, Thyl, arrived to address it within five minutes. "We had a fab time at Brian and Lesley's villa. It's a lovely property with a great swimming pool, set in rural surroundings. Brian and Lesley are really nice people, always around to help if needed but they also give you privacy and allow you to get on with your holiday. The villa is very remote (nearest supermarket is 14 mins drive) so it's the ideal place to relax. We managed trips to Beja and to Milfontes as well as the science centre/mining centre about an hour north. Definitely recommend...

"Lovely quiet spot overlooking the countryside, exactly what we were looking for. Clean, spacious and comfortable with everything you'd expect made this a truly relaxing week. Martin was an excellent host, it was good to meet him and good to know there was someone nearby if we had any issues - fortunately we had none."
