"The location of the flat was ideal for exploring the island. Pingo Doce, a very large supermarket, was a two minute drive. Mariana was very responsive and helpful. She was very kind and had many suggestions to help make our vacation a spectacular experience. There are many excellent restaurants on the island but having the ability to cook and enjoy our meals on the very spacious balcony made the vacation extra special. "We really enjoyed our stay, and the view of the apartment and the host was super helpful and responsive with several questions we had along the way. The only reason for a 4 rating was the floor wasn't super clean (the rest was) and it was a particularly hot week late July/early August and we found the apartment very hot and hard to cool down, even with fans.
