"Very clean and modern facilities, excellent rooms in terms of comfort and amount of space. We did have trouble with our booking, but on arrival the staff was very helpful in sorting it out. The breakfast in the morning was very nice, and the pool out back was great, even in the cooler weather! Would definitely recommend!"

"This is a delightful hotel and lives up to its name “”Charming House”. The renovation done some years ago is very tasteful and skillful and the historic home is in excellent condition. The breakfast is served each morning with handmade pottery and nice linens, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We were told that we needed to park on the street nearby, but when we reported that there were no spaces available they made room in their small adjacent lot for us. My husband and I both felt it was a lovely place for a very reasonable price. It was a lovely introduction to the Azores. "

"It was a nice property but a little far from the City Gates, you had to walk past a large construction site and it was a narrow walkway. The breakfast was good however, it never varied - everything was the same each and every day. I felt like the servers only were gracious when they received a tip."
