"I want to be fair when I make this review because overall it’s a nice hotel with great staff. However , there were issues. 1- the main restaurant was closed for refurbishment and you could only use Pier 8 , that said, Pier 8 is in a fantastic location. 2- the hotel is being refurbished throughout and it’s my understanding that the pool and Pier 8 will be refurbished in Jan 25. 3- the hot water in our room was cold /tepid for most of our stay until we were told to let it run for 5 minutes first...

" A bit of an odd place to be honest. Very "Jakarta arisan social set on holidays in bali" in style... Everything painted white and neutralised, it all felt very "halal and clean" but like it was missing some former soul or something. Our room was ok, breakfast but certainly no bacon and no decent coffee, which are minimum expectations for a hotel in bali. The new affiliated coffee shop at the front of the building was a god send. Strange location, on the bypass road far from sanur itself"

"Quiet place in a busy place. Next to crowdy Icon Bali while not made you feel you are at the country side with only wind and birds. The villa is clean and greenery and lovely little lizard sunbathing. We attended the cooking class where basically it is a private class with a great chef taught us thru how balinese dishes are made. This gives us better cooking experience than those mass cooking schools. The villa manager was a nice guy that we felt the warmth and learnt the history of the villa."
