I wish the ground floor rooms and the pool area were non-smoking; the smoke and smell tend to be enclosed in the pool area by the accommodation blocks and a high wall. Good breakfast options. "I want to be fair when I make this review because overall it’s a nice hotel with great staff. However , there were issues. 1- the main restaurant was closed for refurbishment and you could only use Pier 8 , that said, Pier 8 is in a fantastic location. 2- the hotel is being refurbished throughout and it’s my understanding that the pool and Pier 8 will be refurbished in Jan 25. 3- the hot water in our room was cold /tepid for most of our stay until we were told to let it run for 5 minutes first...
