"From the unique entrance to the front desk was the ambiance of the twenties. It takes you back to the 20's with irs decor and furnishings. Greet by the wonderful in a courtesy manner and friendly manner. Room kept ro the theme of the 20?'s and cannot say enough about the staff and how accomadating they were. Very clean hotel rooms and every area of the hotel. Breakfast was great and tasty. Cannot say enough about my experience withis place. Will be back again. "

"The apartment is in a great location. It has two working elevators, which is not common in Europe. Decent space with an updated bathroom. The decor is interesting, but I don’t care much about that."

"Nice boutique hotel in good condition. Location doesn't allow taxis to drop you off in front of hotel; you need to walk 60-70 yards uphill on very rough cobblestone street from drop off spot. Great location in Alfamba with shops, restaurants and bars in all directions. Great breakfast but hours are 7:30 to 10:00, so often we were not able to use it. Most tours require you to be at a pick-up location before 8AM."

"This was our first stop in Portugal. The room was lovely, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Tons of shops and restaurants are nearby. A rental car place is close and the subway and tram are near. It is tucked away on a side street, so people aren't familiar with it, but it is right behind the Mundial. Great location, good people, I'd stay here again."

"Great location - central without being noisy. Not a good view from window at all (internal courtyard) but not a problem for us. More expensive rooms will have a better (street) view. Room clean and comfortable although missing a few convenient things like easily accessible plug sockets and hooks in the bathroom. Have stayed once before 2 years ago and would probably stay again although it would be nice to see it updated just a little. Not accessible for anyone severely disabled as there are...
