A very nice traditionally elegant hotel. The rooms were well appointed and quiet for such a central location. The beds were fantastic. Excellent breakfast and located in the best place for exploring the tourist areas of Lisbon

This hotel was a real treat for our first visit to Lisbon. The staff was wonderful, the service was outstanding, and the location was perfect. The breakfast was top-notch for any breakfast you would get at a nice hotel, but it was especially good for a buffet. The staff in the cocktail lounge downstairs was attentive, friendly, and they made great drinks. We would definitely stay at the Hotel Avenida Palace again.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to my every need. The concierge was knowledgeable and helpful, and the housekeeping team kept my room spotless. One notable plus was the hotel's recent upgrade to new windows, which made a huge difference in reducing street noise. Despite being located near a busy train station, we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet our room was. While the hotel's decor and amenities may be a bit dated, we found it added to the property's character and charm. It was like stepping back in time, and we appreciated the unique experience. If you value history, excellent service, and a one-of-a-kind experience, I highly recommend staying at Avenida Palace.

Spent 3 nights at this hotel and we loved it! Staffs are amazing and very friendly. Room was ready by noon. Tons of shops and restaurants around the hotel. Location is unbeatable, in the heart of everything! 15 mins walk to Time Out Market. 2 mins walk to the main shopping strip. Jazz performance every night between 7-8pm. Room is very clean and well maintained.

Loved the location of this property for our 3 night stay. Staff, food, location and value was excellent. Unfortunately we had a first floor room right near the entrance to the hotel and it seemed the metro system must have been right below the surface. You could hear every train go by. We managed but was not ideal.

Grande dame! Wonderful to watch the dance the servers do as they weave around the breakfast room! But our four days got off on the wrong foot as it took 10-15 minutes for the bellman to bring up our bags—we were starving, just wanted to clean up, change clothes, go eat. No heated towel rack so towel was still damp at end of day. And NO IRON. A steamer is supposed to be safer? Bed fine. Shower? Meh. Music at 7:00-8:00 was delightful.

The dining women staff were wonderful. As were all the other staff in hotel. All our needs were cared for. The bed was perfect. Wish I could have stayed longer than my 4 nights.
