"This was a sweet place, more of a 3 star, than 4 star. Room was good, lots of sounds, not great room insulation, but you are staying in an historic building. Breakfast was awesome and staff was VERY kind and accommodating. It was a bit of a walk to the Duomo (about 25 minutes), I love walking so not an issue for me. It's in a very residential area right on the tram path, so can be convenient for some."

"Solid hotel. Rooms are impossibly small, though perhaps that's the case with most/all hotels in Florence. If you are claustrophobic, this may not be the best option for you; pay attention to listed square footage of room. The fact that there is a laundromat right next door is convenient!"

"The hotel was undergoing renovation. Rooms are very small and the bolt on the door was not working (which cannot even be raised when you are a solo traveler). The breakfast staff were a bit rude, for instance trying to have me relocate where I was seated for breakfast because I was close to where the staff were talking to each other. The room was clean and in a convenient location. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and brought me tea when I was under the weather. "
