"It's very out of the way, a little hard to find, but beautiful. Not fancy, clean, rustic. Cute. Great breakfast. Only one restaurant close by, but they told us that the other restaurants deliver. There is a 'kitchenette' in the room, so you can bring some groceries if you like. Or reheat leftovers. "

"Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Helped us with seeing wildlife in the surrounding rain forest. He delivered our daily breakfasts with his car…..a short drive from his house to our cabin. Refreshed our sit-in pool during our stay. Upon our request….gave us coffee for the coffee maker. Very friendly owner…..enjoyed chatting about wildlife!"

"The staff was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. I have never been greeted with such open arms and taken care of after all the staff was done for the evening. They came out and cooked me and my two colleagues and wonderful meal and delighted us with stories and suggestions for activities. A must stay if coming to the area!"

"På grund af vejens beskaffenhed nåede vi ikke op til hotellet. Det var en meget bumpet og til tider oversvømmet tilkørselsvej, så vores lokale chauffør nægtede at køre os. Vi valgte derfor at blive på “hovedvejen” og endte med at sove i Grecia, den nærmeste by. Alt endte således godt, fordi vi blev adopteret af en lokal. Hotellet kan kun anbefales til rejsende med en meget kraftig 4-hjulstrækker. "

"Bare bones, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was bottled water in the room and a hot shower (which in Costa Rica is not always a given). I was pleased, too, that they did come pick me up at the airport even though my plane arrived after stated shuttle hours. "
