"My girlfriend (age 22) and I (age 21), thought the property was great for a quiet relaxing trip. Not a whole lot going on at night which was a little bit disappointing. But the staff were on the ball with drink service around the pool and the beach was massive. It was nice to sit on the beach if you wanted to get away from people for a bit. Lots of older people and kids, so if you’re looking for more nightlife, activities, and parties, probably not the place for you. The rooms were great very modern and spacious. If you are looking for a quiet getaway I do recommend this place. The buffet was average at best, could find things to eat regardless. The pizza stand was a nice touch as well as the sushi bar. We were pretty forgetful on reservations for restaurants so we only really got the chance to try the Zai Japanese restaurant which was fantastic. One thing I did really like was right off the resort, we went to eat at a place across the street and it was the best food I had. And there’s a ton of walkable restaurants in the vicinity and from my experience was safe to go off resort. The town of San Jose was very cool and if your here on Thursdays I recommend going to the art walk downtown."

"We had an amazing experience at Hyatt Place. The staff are friendly and nice. The place is very safe. It is walking distance to the beach. We love the buffet breakfast. They have a lot of choices. We are glad that they are changing some of the menu everyday. "

"For a dated property this was nice. Very clean and quiet. The shower was excellent. The dining room was good, the staff was excellent. They were very friendly , helpful and pleasant. The beach was not very good. The sand was very hard on bare feet and going into the water is not advised because of the rip tide. That made it so we only walked on the beach one time. That is something we both really enjoy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place. We would come back. The top reason for us was the peace and quiet. "
