The hotel was kind enough to hold our luggage when we checked out so we could explore before heading to the train station. They were also kind enough to ask about arranging a taxi for pick up to take us to the train station. "

However, i have discovered that almost all bed and breakfast places in Italy have stairs, hills, and more stairs. Congratulations to the great staff. We loved our stay in Firenze!"

It’s about a 15 minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio for reference but still within the historic area of Florence. Lots of shops and restaurants in the are. The service was excellent.
